The Kathmandu Valley and Bardia National Park Safari tour helps you indulge in cultural and wildlife activities in an 8-day program. This journey begins by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu Valley, encompassing an amazing diversity of architectural marvels, historic customs, and fine woodworking.
We then continue to the sub-tropical forest of Bardiya National Park, which is the largest National Park in Nepal. We proceed to enjoy our exciting jungle activities such as nature walks, jeep safari, bird-watching, and a float safari. During our stay at the Bardia National Park, we got the opportunity to experience the genuine Tharu culture of western Nepal in addition to the adventure.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj → Drive to Bardia National Park

- Driving through Bardia, Nepal’s largest wilderness in the Terai.
- Afternoon Tharu village walk: Experience about indigenous Tharu culture, dance, and farming.
- Sunset at the Karnali River, spot crocodiles and birds.
- Overnight: Spend the night at a cozy eco-lodge in Bardia that offers a tranquil jungle experience by fusing modern conveniences with natural charm.
Day 04: Full-Day Jungle Walk and Wildlife Safari
- On tour, we explore the depths of Bardia's nature with a knowledgeable guide and porter and find undiscovered paths filled with species.
- Witness hog deer, leopards, exclusive Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, and endangered Asian elephants in their wild habitat.
- Savor a picnic lunch while listening to the rustling leaves and chirping of the jungle.

Day 5: Full-Day Jeep Safari in Bardia

Day 7: Return to Kathmandu
- Take a picturesque 2-hour drive to Nepalgunj and then a 1-hour flight to Kathmandu to say goodbye to Bardia.

Day 8: Departure from Kathmandu
- For your departure, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.
