This full-day hike starts from the quiet Dam Side of Pokhara and leads up to two popular spots: the World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa) and the Pumdikot Shiva Statue. The trail goes through peaceful forests, small villages, and gentle hills. Along the way, you’ll enjoy fresh mountain air and great views of Pokhara city and the calm waters of Fewa Lake. It’s a pleasant walk where you can see both nature and local life up close.
At the top, the World Peace Pagoda offers a peaceful place to rest and take in amazing views of the Annapurna mountains. From there, a short uphill walk takes you to the massive Shiva statue at Pumdikot, one of the tallest in Nepal. It’s a great spot for photos and quiet time.
